The Catamaran Hotel, first opened in 1968, has been owned and operated by a prominent local family ever since. It is an affordable alternative to the larger all-inclusive resorts, located on the south eastern side of the island in a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, directly on the beach of the beautiful natural harbour at Falmouth.

The Catamaran Hotel’s 14 rooms offer a variety of sleeping options from a beachfront room to the Captain’s Cabin and Admiral’s Suite.

The four beachfront rooms are ideally located at the very edge of the beach and with two full size beds are ideal for families or friends travelling together. Each has an exterior patio and the rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove and all necessary utensils.

Conveniently located on the second floor are the Superior View rooms. Each room has a queen size four poster bed along with a single bed, private bathroom, exterior balcony and a superb panoramic view of the ocean to the south. The three Captain’s Cabins are larger, located on the second floor, with queen sized four poster beds all with fully equipped kitchenettes and dining area, balconies and fabulous views. The largest room is the Admiral’s Suite for a spacious vacation experience.

The Catamaran Hotel has a superb swimming pool with wonderful views over the beach and Falmouth Harbour. The hotel’s sunfish dinghies and rowing boats are available to guests.

Boasting iconic and awe-inspiring views of the Falmouth Bay the on-site Captain’s Quarters Restaurant & Bar offers guests both formal and informal alfresco dining.

Start the day by being spoilt for choice with breakfast options ranging from fruit to traditional hot mains or try the famous Antiguan Breakfast. Visit for lunch with light options to help keep you feeling dainty but full of energy to tackle the rest of your day or chose from the daily local lunch special options.

Sport fishing, diving and yachting can be arranged for you through the hotel reception.

In October and November 2020, the Catamaran Hotel was the location for the filming of a major new primetime series “The Big Body Hotel”. For two months, the Hotel worked to convert the hotel into a unique resort that can cater to people who are plus size. Every week they welcomed new plus-size guests who enjoyed the facilities and had an amazing prejudice-free holiday. The series begins transmission on Discovery Plus on March 12^th.  All the plus size facilities such as reinforced, enlarged furniture remain, making the Catamaran Hotel one of the only hotels in the world that can cater for the plus size holidaymaker”
