Being a small island, you can drive around Antigua several times in one day though you’re probably going to want to take the time to explore the hidden nooks and crannies of the island. Measuring 108 square miles, and 13 miles across, it will not be hard to make your way around the island, although road signage is not always the best it is difficult to get lost.

Even if you have an International Drivers License, you will need to purchase a local driving license to be able to rent a car and drive in Antigua and Barbuda, usually, the car hire company can provide you with this for US$20.00 (EC$50.00).
